I have a Travel health policy, what is the claim procedure?
1.  It is advisable to carry with you the following papers at all times, on your overseas trip.
2.  Original policy copy
3.  Claim Form
Period of Insurance
1.  The cover is operative from the day the insured first crosses the Indian border for the overseas journey and remains operative until.
2.  The expiry of travel days as specified in the schedule
3.  The exhaustion of the sum insured
4.  Return of the insured.
        In the event of an occurrence, which results in a claim, the claim-settling agent has to be informed immediately, with full details.The insured can contact Paramount Healthcare Management who are the coordinating partners in India for Euro Alarm to provide emergency assistance and claims administration services.

5.  Original bills and vouchers, the condition treated, prescriptions etc should support the claim.
6.  Loss of baggage must be reported to the carrier and a Property Irregularity Report to be obtained. Original report, with the ticket baggage tags, and claim form to be submitted to the claim-settling agent.
7.  In case of loss of passport, the police authorities to be informed within 24 hours and an official report obtained. The original official report to be submitted with the claim form.
8.  If there is a financial emergency, the insured can contact the claim-settling agents stating details of insurance policy, Police report, and a written statement narrating the incident of loss.
9.  In a claim against hijacking, the incident should be confirmed by the Police.
Claim settlement can be done in two ways:
1.  Direct payment to the service providers
2.  If the procedures are complied with, Euro Alarm will give a benefit guarantee to the service provider and the cost will be settled directly.
3.  Reimbursement where direct payment was not possible. It is essential to submit all original bills and vouchers in support of a claim made.
